I rendered this in Arnold Maya 2019 using displacement maps on the Arnold volume shader. Over 6 million Polygons. I used Bifrost to create a liquid splash for the front volume mesh. Exported it as an alembic cash then imported into this scene and applied the volume shader to create an organic look. The backbox is just the Arnold volume creation. Used Marvelous designer and Zbrush for the dress. Zbrush for the wings, and hair. Substance painter for the female character. Edited the render in photoshop and cranked up vivid in the Camera Raw, as well as darkening the blacks a little bit.
